Tour Itinerary

Day 1| Siem Reap Majestic Temples Tour

Your guide will pick you up at 8:00 AM from your hotel to begin your journey through the heart of the ancient Khmer Empire.

Start with a visit to the majestic Angkor Wat, the world’s largest religious monument and a symbol of Cambodia. Next, explore Angkor Thom, the ancient royal city, where you’ll discover the enigmatic Bayon Temple, famous for its 200 smiling stone faces.

Finally, visit the atmospheric Ta Prohm, often called the jungle temple, where massive tree roots intertwine with centuries-old ruins, a site made famous by the film Tomb Raider.

After the tour, you’ll be dropped off at your hotel.

Day 2| Journey to Kampong Thom via a Floating Village

As you journey toward Kampong Thom, take a memorable detour to explore the Floating Village of Kampong Khleang, one of the largest and most authentic stilted communities on Tonle Sap Lake.

Day 3| Explore Sambo Prei Kuk and set off to Phnom Penh

Start your day with a traditional breakfast at your homestay before setting out to explore Sambor Prei Kuk, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Cambodia’s most significant yet lesser-known archaeological treasures.

Dating back to the pre-Angkorian Chenla period (7th century), this ancient city features over 100 brick temples scattered across a forested area, many adorned with intricate carvings and surrounded by tranquil walking paths.

A local guide can enhance your visit, sharing insights into the site’s unique architecture and its role as a precursor to the great temples of Angkor.

After your exploration, return to the homestay for lunch or pack a picnic to enjoy on the road. Then begin the drive south toward Phnom Penh, Cambodia’s vibrant capital. The journey takes approximately 4–5 hours, offering scenic views of rural landscapes and glimpses of everyday life and taste authentic deep-fried tarantulas along the way.

Arrive in Phnom Penh in the late afternoon or early evening and check in to your accommodation.

Day 4| Phnom Penh City Tour

Spend the day exploring Phnom Penh, Cambodia’s dynamic capital, with a guided tour that brings you face-to-face with both the beauty and the tragedy of the country’s history.

Begin your day with a visit to the Killing Fields of Choeung Ek, a deeply moving site where thousands of victims of the Khmer Rouge regime were laid to rest. A memorial stupa stands in quiet remembrance, and an audio guide or local expert can help you better understand the painful history.

Next, continue to the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S-21), a former high school turned prison during the Khmer Rouge era. The museum is a powerful and sobering place, offering insight into Cambodia’s darkest chapter.
