Tour Highlights

Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Angkor Wat and Royal Ruins full day

Begin your day with an 8:00 AM pickup from your Siem Reap hotel and head into Angkor National Park. Start at Angkor Thom, the vast 10-square-kilometer royal city, entering through the majestic South Gate lined with statues of gods and demons holding a giant Naga.

Visit Bayon Temple, renowned for its mysterious smiling faces, then continue to the Terrace of the Elephants. Next, explore Ta Prohm, the atmospheric jungle temple left largely untouched to display the incredible power of nature.

In the afternoon, discover Angkor Wat, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Marvel at its detailed bas-reliefs illustrating Hindu myths and epic stories. After a full day of exploration, return to your hotel.

Duration: Approximately 6 hours.

Day 2: Trod to the Remote Temple of Beng Melea & Koh Ker

Begin your day with a 7:00 AM pickup from your Siem Reap hotel and set out with your guide for a full-day journey to the remote temples of Beng Mealea and Koh Ker. Travel into Cambodia’s quiet countryside to explore Beng Mealea, a 12th-century temple believed to be a prototype for Angkor Wat. Largely unrestored and wrapped in thick jungle, its collapsed galleries and moss-covered stones create a mysterious, enchanting atmosphere.

Continue to Koh Ker, the former Khmer capital (928–944 AD), famous for its striking pyramid-style temple rising above the forest canopy, a design unlike any other in Cambodia. After a simple picnic lunch (own expense), explore more secluded ruins scattered throughout the area before returning to Siem Reap.

Duration: Approximately 7–8 hours.
