Phnom Nam Lear Sanctuary – Mondulkiri

Guided tours arranged through eco-tourism agencies in Sen Monorom are the safest and most convenient way to access the area.
Best Time to Visit and Travel Tips
The dry season, from November to April, provides easier road conditions and more comfortable trekking weather. The rainy season, from May to October, brings out the sanctuary’s greener, wilder side, with fuller streams and waterfalls, perfect for photographers and those who don’t mind more adventurous travel.
Bring sturdy hiking boots, insect repellent, and a reusable water bottle for treks. A good pair of binoculars is essential for birdwatching. Since facilities are limited, pack snacks, extra water, and basic first aid supplies.
