We will pick you up at either Sihanoukville Port Gate 1 or the Independence Monument Sihanoukville, depending on your cruise’s designated shuttle drop-off point.

After disembarking, please take the complimentary shuttle bus provided by your cruise ship, which will bring you directly to the meeting location where our team will be waiting to welcome you.

Independence Monument Sihanoukville

Continue to the Independence Monument, built in 1985 to honor Cambodia’s independence and those who sacrificed their lives in past conflicts. Located on Ekareach Street between the city center and Victory Hill, the monument sits within a small park and is accompanied by a nearby shrine used during religious festivals.

Designed as a lotus-shaped stupa in traditional Khmer style, it stands as a powerful symbol of national pride and an important landmark for visitors exploring Sihanoukville.

Tomnub Rolork – Koh Preap Pier 

Continue to Tomnub Rolork – Koh Preap Pier, a busy local fishing port that offers an authentic glimpse into Sihanoukville’s maritime life. As a key hub for fishermen, it plays an important role in the region’s culture and economy.

While the area has limited tourist facilities, its raw and genuine atmosphere makes it a fascinating place to observe daily fishing activities and experience the city’s coastal heritage. Visitors are advised to take care when walking around due to the basic infrastructure.

Wat Krom Pagoda

Stop at Wat Krom, also known as Wat IntNhean, a peaceful Buddhist temple in Sihanoukville where you can learn more about Cambodia’s basic beliefs and deeper religious traditions. Perched on a hilltop, it offers beautiful views over the city and the Gulf of Thailand.

The pagoda is known for its large reclining Buddha, the shrine of the local deity Ya-Mao, and its elegant Khmer-style architecture. More than just a place of worship, Wat Krom is a cultural landmark that offers a calm and reflective atmosphere with scenic surroundings.

Phsar Leu Market (Sihanoukville Market)

Visit Phsar Leu Market, also known as Sihanoukville Market, and experience the vibrant rhythm of everyday local life. This busy market is filled with fresh produce, seafood, meats, spices, clothing, handicrafts, and souvenirs, offering a true taste of Cambodian culture.

It is also a great place to practice your bargaining skills, meet friendly vendors, and sample authentic street food such as fresh spring rolls, grilled meats, and sweet coconut desserts. Open daily from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, it provides plenty of time to explore.

Drive past the Golden Lions Roundabout, a lively city landmark in Sihanoukville known for its golden lion statues symbolizing strength and pride.

Statue of Preah Thong and Neang Neak

The Statue of Preah Thong and Neang Neak in Sihanoukville is a powerful tribute to Khmer heritage. Completed in 2022, it is the largest copper statue in Cambodia, standing 27.34 meters tall including its pedestal.

It represents the legendary figures Preah Thong (Kaundinya I) and Neang Neak (Queen Soma), who are regarded as the founding ancestors of the ancient Funan Kingdom.

According to Khmer legend, Preah Thong, an Indian prince, arrived in the region and married Neang Neak, a Naga princess. Their union is believed to mark the origin of the Khmer people and their culture.

Located at the Ream Beach roundabout facing the sea, the statue has become an important cultural landmark in Sihanoukville, symbolizing Khmer identity and attracting both locals and visitors.

Beach Stop in Sihanoukville

A visit to Sihanoukville would not be complete without enjoying its beautiful coastline. You will have time to relax and stroll along either Otres Beach or Sokha Beach, both known for their soft sandy shores and calm tropical atmosphere.

Take in the fresh sea breeze, enjoy the peaceful scenery, or simply unwind by the water. If you wish, you may also stop for a coffee break or lunch at your own expense.

After the beach experience, the tour continues with a drop-off at your shuttle bus station, where you will board your return transfer to your cruise ship.
